We are currently creating more content for this section. But we'll start by telling you a little bit about ourselves - we are Metis entrepreneurs and enjoy working with our hands and minds with natural products, etc. We hope that you will enjoy what we and the other Metis craftspeople create, which we will feature on this site. We are involved with the Michif Metis Museum, (Mr.) Dale being the President of the Michif Historical and Cultural Preservation Society, as well as being Museum Curator, you may visit the Museum site at: - www.michifmetismuseum.org. The proceeds from the creations we sell, will help fund this wonderful little museum, for the time being, that we are entrusted.
Hopefully, in the future funding will come through from other sources. Next year, a mobile museum will be in the works so we can travel bringing the Metis culture and history to different communities, we look forward to doing this and meeting new friends along the way. Please stop by again. We will keep you informed of our progress. Thank you for your interest!
As mentioned in other pages on this site, we enjoy creating with our hands. The environmentally friendly 'Quanshed' is one such product - kits created out of rough material (wood) that would ordinarily be unacceptable for resale on the average construction market - good wood, but unevenly cut, etc. So instead of letting it go to waste, our product makes good use of this rough material. See www.ddhenterprises.biz for more information and details on the 'Quanshed' kits....
Our walking sticks also are made from natural wood where we find it. Usually on the ground from fallen trees. The trimmings are also natural - feathers, glass beads, fur, leather, etc. We will be showing this product shortly.
There is a very important site that all my internet friends should look into - no matter what your belief system is, it's worth a read - the website is called 'Fire The Grid' and you can access it at: www.firethegrid.com just click on the URL here and it should take you to the site.
